Thomas Harris, son of Thomas Harris and Mary Ann Parsons, was born in 1822 in Bristol, England. He married Elizabeth Morris (1818-1885), daughter of Thomas Morris and Mary, in 1844 in Bath, England. They had seven children. He died in 1890 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He also married Elizabeth Corner (1848-1879), Jane Counsell (1822-1890) and Jane Elizabeth Giles (1858-1918).
